WARRANTY DETAILS

     Kana Performance Products, LLC as the Parent Company owning the Chill Zone Muffler Trademark makes the following written warranty statements:     The original purchaser of any Chill Zone branded exhaust product is granted a Lifetime Limited Warranty against material and workmanship defects provided proper installation and use is adhered as set forth below.

     Chill Zone Performance mufflers are sold individually or in pairs without any accessories or additional installation materials.   Improper installation can cause damage to yourself and to others, even death.  It is highly recommended that proper professional personnel such as a proven muffler shop shall conduct the installation of your Chill Zone muffler.  Any welding, brazing or thermal cutting performed by Purchaser or others upon the muffler shall void this warranty.  The installer must utilize U-clamps or Band Clamps to connect the muffler to vehicle exhaust system.  Purpose-built hangers that allow movement must secure the clamps to vehicle undercarriage.

     All Chill Zone mufflers are fabricated using Stainless Steel materials including the weld consumables which shall provide an exceptionally long product life.  The appearance of the product is not covered under warranty as the color and finish varies among raw, brushed, polished or mirror-like.  Uncontrollable circumstances due to collision, weather, road debris impact or extreme heat can disfigure the muffler and shall not be covered under any warranty.    Any modifications, alterations, misuse, repairs, abuse and/or negligent acts shall void this warranty.  The sound level emitted by any Chill Zone muffler is not covered under any warranty.    In the realm of performance exhaust systems, an increase in system tubing diameter brings increased sound level.  The consequences must be considered as larger diameter increases output of both performance and sound level.

     To make a claim under the terms of this limited warranty, the original purchaser must return the product to the original retailer including a copy of the purchaser’s receipt also referred to as the Proof of Purchase.  This Proof of Purchase receipt must indicate the purchase date, amount paid and include a contact phone number to facilitate a speedy warranty experience.  If upon inspection by Kana Performance Products, the product is found as defective in material or workmanship, KPP shall at its option, either exchange the part with a new identical part or refund the original purchase price.   The cost of removal and/or reinstallation along with cost of labor or any additional parts required to complete the installation of the replacement product, towing or return shipping costs are not covered under this warranty.  In no event shall KPP be liable for any losses, inconvenience and/or damages – whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise resulting from the use of or inability to use the product, or any breach of warranty or any defect in the product.  Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights.  You may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.  All rights reserved.  There are no other warranties offered beyond that listed herein unless otherwise required by applicable law.
